An exciting new 3 year pilot is being set up in Hawkes Bay to support whānau, tamariki and rangatahi living with neurodiveristy in our community.

The team is looking for an Administrator who can support the creation and delivery of Education and training sessions that will be delivered to whānau, community members and professionals working in Hawkes Bay. The vision of this mahi is to empower and support our tamariki and rangatahi through sharing collective wisdom and knowledge to those in need. The role will also help set up the administrative side of the service, supporting the team and their leaders with day to day operational tasks.

If you have a skill for setting up organisational systems, are able to work efficiently as an administrator and have a can-do attitude for making training events happen then we are looking for you.

This is a part time job of 32 hours a fortnight (16 hours a week) with the opportunity to work flexibly within the Monday to Friday working week. The position is for a fixed term of 18 months and is based in the Te Ara Manapou service in Hastings.

Experience and or knowledge of neurodiversity particularly Autism and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and it’s impact on the young person and their whānau is desireable but not essential as you will be joining a small team who will be well supported by Te Ara Manapou and Te Kunenga Mai rongokako (Child Development Service).

The hours worked are Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with approval on the hiring manager.
