Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Services Technician to join our Sterile Services department here at Thames Hospital.


As a successful Technician, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the Operating Theatre and our Endoscopy Suite.


Day to day, you will be decontaminating and sterilising surgical instruments. You will be part of a small team, so good communication is a vital attribute.


The department is equipped with washers, autoclave, Soluscope and Sterrad sterilisers.


This is a 16 hour per week, permanent position, where you will work Monday to Friday, 07:00 0r 08:00 start and finish at 15:30 or 16:30. (Please note these hours are subject to change).

  • Knowledge of sterile processes
  • Understanding prioritisation of tasks

Mōu | About you

  • Good communication skills
  • Previous experience in Sterile Services or similar
  • Hold a certificate as a Sterile Services Technician
