Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Ward here at Tokoroa Hospital.

As a successful Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in working across Tokoroa Health Services.

Day-to-day you will work alongside other experienced Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Heath Care Assistants.

You will be provided with support from our friendly team, and gain exposure to diverse cultural environments + a variety of cases.

This is a Fixed Term position for one year, working 32 rostered hours per week.


Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Medication Administration
  • Monitoring patient health
  • Patient education
  • Provide basic bedside care
  • Patient care responsibilities.

Tokoroa Hospital – inpatient Ward is committed to offer services to provide health and disability support services across the region. The position will initially be in the inpatient unit and then you will orientate to other areas of the hospital and community service to support our model of a rural health delivery. This position also involves on call support.



Mōu | About you

  • Current Annual Practising Certificate
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
  • Experience working as a Registered Nurse
  • Great communication skills
