Location: Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital

Service/Department: Outpatient Cardiac, Villa 2

Contract: Fixed Term 10 months, Part-time, 48 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE)

About the role.

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone suitably qualified to join the Medical Outpatient team as a Cardiac Registered Nurse, who will work in our Villa 2 environment. Cardiology is moving forward and we need a specialist nurse to help us develop our service in Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay. We are starting a local implantable cardiac devices service and the role would encompass helping prepare patients for procedures and bookings, as well as providing support in assisting in cardiology procedures (implantable cardiac devices and angiography).

As a Registered Nurse, you will be dedicated to providing exceptional care while working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients within our community.

Skills and experience.

· Current registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand as Registered Nurse.

· Hold a current annual practising certificate as Registered Nurse.

· Hold a currently assessed nursing portfolio as assessed via an approved Profession.
