Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operator to join the team. The Production Operator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production process, including the servicing and proper use of equipment, tools, and machinery. This role requires flexibility in working hours/days, as overtime and weekend work may be necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure equipment, tools, and machinery are well serviced and used correctly
- Maintain an efficient flow of production-related activities
- Complete production jobs in accordance with sales and work orders
- Report any problems or product defects to the supervisor
- Adhere to all safe working practices, including wearing all correct PPE gear
Qualifications:
- At least two recent years of experience in the manufacturing industry
- Ability to work flexible hours/days, including overtime and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Forklift license is a bonus
