Network Architect/Consultant – Join a growing Kiwi MSP

Due to increased business growth, our client a leading NZ MSP is seeking an experienced Network Architect to provide a high level of networking architecture and design expertise with a broad range of dedicated customers.

The core skills and experience of the successful candidate will be as follows:

• 10+ years experience within a Network Engineer & Consultancy environment with the ability to manage and maintain customer networks at enterprise design level.
• 5+ years of network solution design experience with the ability to engineer a high level of detailed networking project design solution.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the capability to confidently engage with a broad range of senior business customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to construct and articulate written proposals
• Advanced knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Extreme, Ruckus and Aruba.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
• Advanced knowledge of SD-WAN
• Advanced knowledge of Wireless solutions
• Good knowledge of Azure, and Cloud solutions
• Good knowledge of MPLS/VPLS/VPN/MP -BGP architecture
• Experience working in a vendor or consultancy business will be an advantage but not essential.

This is a permanent role with a competitive salary + benefits based in Auckland CBD fringe with car parking available.

The successful candidate will be comfortable to travel to customer sites on regular basis to design and deliver networking solutions as an SME.
