This innovative, highly successful, well established and growing PM and Design Consultancy is seeking to hire an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor. With a number of projects underway in Auckland and upcoming ones in the pipeline, now couldn't be a better time to get on board with a supportive interiors specialist.

The Intermediate QS who secures this position will have a minimum of 3-4 years experience with good tenures and experience of working on interior fit-out projects from end-to-end; this experience will have been gained in New Zealand. NZ experience and immediate NZ work rights are absolutely essential in order to be considered for this position.

The company has a long history of successfully delivering commercial interiors construction projects. They pride themselves in their strong business values and a commitment to ‘get it right’ and have been a recognised company in the New Zealand fit-out sector for more than two decades.

The following experience and competencies are required for this position:
* 3-4 years experience of working on commercial interiors projects in New Zealand
* Managing costs through the entire project life cycle on design and build projects
* Experience in cost planning, BoQ preparation, measuring cost plans and contract administration
* Providing accurate commercial advice to the Project Management Director and Project Managers
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, a professional and friendly attitude.
* A relevant tertiary education in construction cost management, quantity surveying or similar.
