Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Co-ordinator to join our Perioperative Unit here at Thames Hospital.


As a successful Clinical Nurse Co-ordinator you will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our theatres.


Day to day you will be meeting with the theatre team, managing sick cover, taking a clinical role as required, communicating with Sterile Services Staff regarding instrumentation.


This is a 0.9FTE / 36 hour per week, permanent position where you will work day shifts, Monday to Friday; 07:30 to 16:00hrs (please note these hours are subject to change).


Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Rostering
  • Providing leadership and feedback
  • Trouble shooting
  • Allocating theatre roles
  • Ensuring required equipment is available for surgeries
