Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

The Integration and Delivery team has a clear mission: to provide robust support and continuous improvement to both existing and new applications, spanning clinical and corporate realms. Our focus is on optimising workflow, ensuring systems are responsive, intuitive to use, and easy to access.

Furthermore, the Integration and Delivery function carries responsibility for various elements of PMO functions, spanning from the PMO Centre of Excellence to the actual delivery function within each region.

Are you passionate about driving positive change in healthcare technology? We are seeking a dedicated Change Manager to drive and manage our clinical IT systems change programmes. As the Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role in rolling out new technologies and consolidating existing systems across the Te Manawa Taki region.

You'll be responsible for guiding project teams through change initiatives, utilizing your strong change management skills to ensure successful adoption of new technologies. You'll work in a busy, dynamic environment, contributing to the vision and direction of a newly formed team. This role offers the chance to bring your expertise and unique flavour of digital change management to make a genuine difference.

We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving positive change in healthcare technology. You possess strong change management skills and have experience guiding project teams through complex change initiatives.

We're looking for someone who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the role, capable of approaching challenges in a positive manner while maintaining a calm demeanour .Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with stakeholders at all levels will be crucial to your success in this role.

You have a natural tendency to coach and mentor more junior members of the team, helping to develop their skills and capabilities.  Experience working with clinical IT systems or within the healthcare sector would be advantageous.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • A recognised Change Management Qualification
  • Proven experience in leading and managing change initiatives in complex organisations, with a track record of successful outcomes.
  • An understanding of the New Zealand healthcare sector, including knowledge of healthcare processes, regulations, and challenges, ideally in the public health space.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in change management roles or similar

  • A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions. This includes an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the ability to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in this role
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
