Casual Medical Imaging Technologist, Diagnostic Imaging
Te Whatu Ora Lakes are looking for a casual medical Imaging Technologist to support the Rotorua General Radiography department. If you are a dynamic MIT with current registration with the MRTB and an APC in Diagnostic Imaging then come and join our friendly team. The successful candidate would work across the General X-ray Department on an ad hoc basis covering annual leave, vacant shift and on call positions including evenings and weekends.

Te Whatu Ora, Lakes serves a population of approximately 110,000 and Rotorua Hospital has 233 beds. Radiology boasts a modern department with 3 DR rooms, 1 Hybrid DR system, (DR to be installed this year), two DR mobiles and two Flat Panel C-arms, Digital fluoroscopy, CT (Currently being replaced), MRI, and Ultrasound services.
Rotorua provides a relaxed lifestyle with easy access to outdoor recreational pursuits in an idyllic setting, yet still close to the big city. Rotorua Hospital is located in the heart of the North Island’s adventure region with copious outdoor activities including world class mountain biking, white water rafting, multiple beautiful lakes, tramping and within an easy drive to the Bay of Plenty beaches, Taupo and skiing on Mt Ruapehu!!

Salary range is as per Collective Agreement $70,842 - $103,000
