Business Development Manager – Sales & Commercial contributes to the generation of revenue for Te Papa across Museum and Commercial Services directorate. Supporting and creative development of new and enhanced internal commercial opportunities.
Prioritising, developing and nurturing new relationships, proactively source and secure venue sales for both Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre and Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. These iconic venues offer flexible conference and meeting spaces, latest technology, local cuisine and welcoming service for events from 20 to 2500 people.
We have a rare and exceptional new opportunity for a Business Development Manager – Sales & Commercial. You will support and contribute to the Sales and Commercial team by implementation of the strategy, understanding trends and buying patterns through data collection and supporting change where needed.

The starting salary for this position will be between $91,773pa - $108,980 pa. Offers will be made within the range to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees.
