We are seeking an Associate Charge Nurse Manager in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role has a strong focus on management and leadership and works closely with the CNM.

We are a 41 bed unit that comprises of level 1, 2 & 3 beds. The role supports the Charge Nurse Manager and NICU team in taking responsibility for safe and effective management of resources, and ensures the delivery of excellent patient care.



Mōu | About you

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:


Proven demonstration of leadership skills, provide education, and support the implementation of local and national initiatives. You will need to have coordination skills and neonatal expertise enabling a safe practice environment.

• Has a current New Zealand annual practicing certificate that demonstrates clinical expertise

• Has a minimum of 3 years post registration experience

• Have a post graduate nursing qualification

• Demonstrates highly effective communication skills

• Is committed to quality service

• Demonstrates experience in embracing change

• Demonstrates commitment to a customer focused service delivery • Has excellent time management

• Is inclusive and is a positive team member
