Casual Position

We are seeking a casual Administration Co-ordinator - Outpatients for Hawkes Bay who shares our values of He kauanuanu – Respect, Ākina – Improvement,  Rāranga te tira – Teamwork and Tauwhiro – Care

An excellent opportunity has become available for a skilled Administrator to work within the Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay Booking Coordinators Team’s.

This position provide’s an efficient and effective administrative service starting with the processing and clerical triage of referrals (received electronically, by mail or fax) into the Outpatient Services for first specialist assessments, and will also provide administrative support to staff and others within the Elective Booking teams

Naturally you will be able to recognise the needs, aims and aspirations of whanau from all culturally diverse groups within our community.  We are ideally looking for someone with several year’s experience in a busy role, and it is essential that you have the following skills:

  • Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Power point) and related functions and generally be computer savvy with the ability to learn the other software packages used.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people - internally and externally.
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise your own workload, as well as work as part of the team.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.

You will be required to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information and have a strong attention to detail.
