This well-established main contractor has consistently delivered projects on quality and time throughout the BOP and Waikato. They are predominantly focussed on projects in the $5M - $40 region that are gained within design & build, the tender market and negotiated from existing clients. Their projects span industrial, retail, apartments, commercial, education, reclads, and healthcare. They are a streamlined contractor with a strong and positive culture.
Role
This is a role that has high input into the tendering process, ensuring constructability is sound and contributing significantly to ECI/D&B projects. It involves:
- Coordinating bid and tender submissions on price and non price
- Preparing construction and tender programmes
- Attending design meetings
- Contributing to buildability and construction methodologies
- Writing of methodologies and site management plans
- Ability to identify any value management opportunities.
- Stakeholder management between consultants, suppliers and the internal management team
- At least 10 years worked in commercial construction as a Project Manager with strong design & build/preconstruction and bid management experience.
- Strong experience writing detailed construction programmes.
- Tertiary qualified in construction or an earlier trade qualification
- Excellent understanding of contracts
- Experienced in writing technical methodologies.
- Strong relationship builder and a commercially astute operator
Remuneration: $140K - $160K + vehicle
