Factory Worker - Food Manufacturing

Tradestaff are seeking a skilled Production Baker to join our team for an immediate start! In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and consistency of food manufacturing goods for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial baking equipment such as mixers, sheeters, and ovens.
• Ensure adherence to strict quality control standards throughout the baking process.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quotas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist in inventory management by reporting usage of ingredients and supplies.
• Follow health & safety requirements with dilligence. 

Requirements:

• Experience working in a food factory setting.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit, lifting weights up to 20kgs.

Successful applicants must:

• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have 2 ready work references
• Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.

Please note that our work is mainly industrial and therefore for Health and Safety reasons you do need a good command of English.
